This summer, YCCA was buzzing with activity, serving our community in countless ways. From providing essential resources to families to spreading joy through fun-filled events, our team worked tirelessly to make a positive impact.
Back-to-School Success
Our Back-to-School Resource Fair was a resounding success, serving nearly 300 families in Yolo County. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and community members, we were able to distribute 1,700 backpacks, ensuring kids were equipped for the new school year.
A Community of Support
The fair featured 24 partner organizations offering a variety of activities, information, and resources to help families prepare for the school year. From health screenings to parenting workshops, these organizations provided valuable support to our community.

Fun at the Yolo County Fair
Brought to you by Dignity Health, our Family Fun Zone at the Yolo County Fair was a highlight of the summer, attracting thousands of visitors. Families enjoyed hours of free entertainment, including crafts, games, and information about community resources. The team also created a dedicated space called “Rock N Relax,” a private area for parents and caregivers to change diapers and feed their little ones.
