Mission
YCCA believes in ensuring everyone in Yolo County has access to the resources they need to build meaningful ties to their communities and each other. Our mission is to create thriving environments for children to live, learn, and grow.
Our agency provides comprehensive support, including:
– Family Resource Center: Providing vital assistance such as food distributions, parenting classes, financial aid, and health insurance enrollment.
– Home Visiting Programs and Child Developmental Screenings: Ensuring every child receives the support they need from the start.
– Free Tax Preparation Services: Putting more money back into the pockets of hard-working families.
– Youth Employment Services: Offering free assistance and paid work experience for teens and young adults facing challenges.
– Housing Stability Services: Including eviction prevention, financial assistance for move-in costs, enrollment in utility assistance programs, and support for homeless individuals and families.
